MONTH - Monthly tour of the Owen's Valley Radio Observatory (called
"the Ears" by locals) - the giant radio antennas seen
from US 395 just north of Big Pine on the eastside with the White
Mountain Range as a backdrop - Tours are held the first Monday of

Saturday Road Rides: Meet at 10 a.m. at the Great Basin Bakery,
169 Lagoon Street in Bishop. The main focus of the Goathead
Velo (a USCF cycling club, based in Bishop) is well paced group
